Fully designed and coded. - Down Home Ranch (Web site)
Worked with a team (Team 404) on an AIR Interactive Rally site. The team's non-profit was Down Home Ranch. I was the designer for the site in which we had 2 weeks to design and 8 hours to code all of the work on the site. This AIR Rally was different than the previous one due to the time frame allowed and it was not associated with SXSW. The work is voluntary with an awards ceremony held after judging. The AIR Interactive Rally is ran by www.knowbility.org. All web sites are judged for web accessibility in addition to design with accessibility more heavily important. - Shard LPC
All graphics except text logo and initial html coding. Collaboration with partners at Café Austin whom took care of completion of html coding. - MAIN.org (Web Site)
Worked with MAIN.org on a redesign of their site along with a new logo. - 2003 Hyde Park Homes Tour
Designed Home Tour site colors, graphics, navigation, and information architecture. HTML coded site and left comment tags so Hyde Park Neighborhood Association Members could update text and add homes to the tour themselves. - Austin Girls' Choir (Web site)
Worked with a team on an AIR Interactive Rally site. The team's non-profit was the Austin Girls's Choir. I am the designer for the site in which we had 1 month to do all the work on the site. The work is voluntary with an awards ceremony held at the 2003 SXSW Interactive Festival at the end of the project. The AIR Interactive Rally is ran by www.knowbility.org. All web sites are judged for web accessibility in addition to design with accessibility more heavily important. - e-RX.net affiliate site
Site created for freelance contract. Customer desired professional site to draw affiliates to join. Textual content given and general links to a couple of competitor sites for idea from customer. Design layout and information architecture. - Old personal web portfolio web site
This portfolio site was available from February 2003 until September 2003. The idea was to make a liquid site and use include files to lower time updating the site. This site also included a JavaScript browser sniffer to serve up a properly designed page for any browser. - Personal Fine Artwork Site
Launched March 28, 2000. This site is to promote my personal artwork collection that is for sale. More artwork is added periodically. The site has been designed for under 40K file size for initial entrance page. It is just over 38K. - Tivoli.com Navigation
All of the navigation that currently is used on Tivoli.com was created by myself. Masthead, left navigation and footer were all created by myself within the last year. The look and feel were mostly dictated by the current IBM.com look and feel which was at the time much different than the Tivoli.com site. View the old look to compare. Left navigation required editing every page on the entire approximately 60,000 page web site. This involved extensive planning so that regular day to day updates could still be made by the rest of the team while I was editing the pages for the look and feel change. For the most part the change went off without much of a problem. Future changes to left navigation will not require every page to be edited. I had to correct poorly designed code so that it made sense to have server side includes for a portion that could change in look and feel. Every change to these navigation portions of the site requires planning and cooperation with other teams that have control over different areas of the web site. I managed the changes so that they all changed within a narrow amount of time. - Tivoli.com Front Page
Front page of site redesigned numerous times. I moved step by step from original design created by an outside agency to the current design which is slowly evolving into something to fit onto IBM.com the parent company. Below lists other mockups.
- This design went live in 2001.
- Here is a mockup for the Tivoli front page once combined onto IBM.com
- Final mockup of Tivoli front page to look like the rest of the brands.
- Tivoli.com Secondary Pages
Due to redesign of masthead, footer, and left navigation for entire site, the secondary pages were in need of redesign to better fit with the color scheme and general look and feel. - Tivoli.com Splash Pages
These are product solution specific pages. This is a rework of original design created by another person. In an attempt to make the page have more focus and more room for featuring important information, I added to the design and edited portions to organize information. Columns of information were changed from equal width to one more dominant in size and one with specific news related information. Above columns I added an area for a focus graphic or announcement and the second column next to the focus is an area for advertising webcasts, articles, seminars and other such items.
